A
few clouds covering the sunrise. The kookaburras though new it was rising and
sang their hearts out at 6am.
Around
to Valerie’s for coffee. Russell and Steve had just come back from a bike ride
– Russell was still in his lycra – that’s a sight I won’t forget, ha ha.
Great
to catch up with them and see Michelle and Kirsten and hear all the family
news. Lauren and Dean are doing well with their two little one, Chase and Mia
and are enjoying married life.
Then
on to Anita’s. Brian was working. Glen and his lady, Casey were there too so
heard all about their travels and work plans, hopefully in Sydney. Casey went
to school with my nephew David. Checked out the photo book Anita did of Brian’s
trek along the Kokoda Trail. She is making other books of their recent trip to
UK and Europe (while Glen was there).
Steve
rang – all good and he had found a little bit of gold yesterday after he had
unpacked then 2 bits this morning, 0.4 and 0.5 grams so he is happy. Very hot
and dry – so I reminded him to drink water and have some salt – his body isn’t
used to that heat after a year of cold!!!
Over
to Suzanne’s. She was a good girl and resting as she has had the flu and is
still very breathless. Tenille came home from work so we all carried on
chatting. Alexander was working and Libby was in Melbourne with friends for
their friend’s 21st.
Erica
rang – had a good trip back.
Checked
with Mum what we were doing for dinner and she suggested pizza so I stopped in
at Dominos and was served by my nephew, Matthew.
