Mon, 7th September, 2015 Mum & Dad’s, Cairns (baby Axel)

Beautiful clear blue sky this morning – nice temperature 18 degrees overnight. Shame we didn’t have the clear day yesterday for our Tableland trip. This is the best time of the year here, cool overnight but warm during the day without the humidity.

Went over to visit Sue at Redlynch. I worked with Sue before I had Daniel – wow that seems like an eternity ago. Had a great time catching up.

Mum’s painting friend, Bev, called in and she said that she took silica for her spur and it worked. Helps the calcium absorb into the body instead of settling in one spot like a spur. Will get some tomorrow as it might help with my shoulders too.

Rebecca brought her 13 day old baby, Axel William, over to visit. My great nephew and Mum and Dad’s great grandson. Had lots of cuddles and got some nice photos. It was wonderful to see Rebecca and here about her life and the birth etc – more memories!!

Rang Leanne and Rick about Bathurst – they are on Gate 12 with me. Will meet up somewhere on the weekend before so Steve and Rick can put in their diesel heater.

Off to Brothers with Mum, Dad and Val and to meet up with their friends for dinner. Had a play on the pokies and got a few little wins.
