New
mattress is great. Up early to get ready for ‘work’!! Put on my old name badge
and headed down to Trinity Bay High School Tuckshop. The girls had a uniform
shirt for me to where so I just fitted back in. So wonderful to see Rochelle,
Jenny, Carolyn & Jodie again. Unfortunately Wendy was away at a funeral.
Will see her next week.
Had
a great day chatting with teachers, staff and the students. Checked out the new
Grade 7 building out the front and the other changes in the Admin Block.
Managed to get a hello in with Martin as he is a very busy man now that he is
Principal of the school. Missed seeing Stephen as he was in yesterday and will
be retiring at the end of the year. Sadly Laura is still away still with her
daughter Aggie in Brisbane - my thoughts are with them both.
The
little rooms next to the storeroom has been renovated to give the girls more
storage area and another dressing room. Everything is still growing but they
are doing a marvellous job keeping all the students clothed and fed well.
Rochelle has added more yummy choices to the menu.
Dot
was in too which was wonderful – she is 83 now. We did the rolls, chicken
burgers, lamb and chicken wraps together while the others busily did all the other
menu items. Popcorn and frozie cups have disappeared with freezers and popping
machines breaking down all the time it was not viable to keep them going.
Raquel
and her daughter called in with pavlova for morning tea which was delicious. I
had yummy savoury mince and rice for lunch that Rochelle makes so well.
Rochelle gave me some of the new sorbets to try tonight with Mum and Dad for
dessert.
Dan
picked up the board for under the second bed then he took the old mattresses to
the dump. He is a wonderful son and grandson.
Another
lovely afternoon walk along the Esplanade with Wendy.
Dad
‘cooked’ dinner – Chinese. Had our sorbets for dessert.
Popped
in to see Johno, Kathy and her boys. July is still out at the station at Foresyth.
NO
PHOTOS TODAY.
