Sun, 6th Dec, 2015 Benarca Campground, Murray Valley Regional Park, west of Moama, NSW

Hot night so all the windows open but it cooled off in the early morning. Warmed up quickly though. Worked on my blog and Steve had another go at fishing. No luck this morning. Cuppa by the river watching the budgies. No koalas so I had to take photos of the birds, when they sat still long enough for me to get a photo, that is.

Clouds coming over. Busy on the river today.

Settled in with the fan on to watch the V8s at Homebush, Sydney. 37 degrees at 1pm. Texting Louis and Fozzie who are at home watching the race too.

Up to 39.2 during the afternoon. Leanne texted too as they were watching the V8s – got them hooked.

Rang Lou for a chat about the race today. Tried Kaylene but no answer but Rick answered so had a nice chat with him.

The clouds are getting heavier and now the lovely breeze we had has stopped. Went for a walk along the river looking for koalas, none but we saw a few kangaroos and rabbits. Very quiet on the river now, hasn't been a boat for a few hours.

Very still night. 9pm still 36 in the van but we aren’t complaining!!
