Fri, 17th June, 2022 Bush camp by Ord River below Ivanhoe Crossing, Kununurra, WA

6am 11 degrees - ouch. Glad we are warm in bed.

Wobbled our way out the track and back into town to see if there are more fruit and vegies at Coles. Yeah got some oranges, pumpkin etc but no beans.

Back to our camp spot where Steve got the washing going so I could catch up on my blog. Plenty of clean water to use for the washing and the sun is hot now with a good breeze blowing to dry it all off.

Steve checked the truck over ready for the ‘Gibb’ and made me beautiful again with a hair colour!

Sat by the river watching the water whiz by then got the fire going as the temperature dropped. Rang Daniel and got him for a change so we had a lovely chat. Fran is good and work is still very busy.

Rod and Christine texted back that they were in Katherine so we gave them a ring and caught up on what they have been doing.

Nice night listening to the water rush over the rapids.
