Thurs, 16th Mar, 2023 Kev & Linda’s place, Glen Iris, WA

Cloudy and warmer 17 degrees at 7am. Lots of lovely messages from my FB post re Erica’s passing from other friends and family.

The dark clouds turned into rainy clouds so it was a cold wet morning. Good day for a few more games of Tri-ominos.

Kev had given Steve his old phone when our old one started playing up so I went through and transferred all his photos etc. He was also going through old photo albums and found these couple of old fishing photos of Steve and Kev - great memories. What a handsome dude Steve was - well still is but there is more to cuddle now.

Sky clearing. Had lunch in the camper. Kaylene and Rick rang to check how Steve was after his mother’s passing. They are such a lovely caring couple.

Took our Uno Flip card game in and had a very hilarious afternoon playing that. I remember Mum getting all confused each time we had to turn the cards over but Steve was always there helping her. Such wonderful memories though sadly by that stage Dad couldn’t cope with card games but he would sit with us sometimes and I would give him some cards and help him.

No more rain so Linda and I took her dog for a walk again.

As we are leaving tomorrow we had dinner with Kev and Linda which was lovely. Chatted the evening away. It has been so lovely to spend time with them both again. They are both very appreciative of all the help Steve has given them while I was still in Bundaberg.
