11.1 degree min - put the heater on. A shower of rain during the night woke me up. Cloudy now and another light shower while we had breakfast. It is cold and windy outside.
Packed up and said goodbye to Tom & Sandy. Hopefully we will see them in Perth if they are home from Exmouth. Steve will pick me up from the airport at 10.30pm so we will park up on their driveway for the night.
Drove down to the main camp to say thanks and goodbye to Ross & Lara. Myles was there too and he and Steve got chatting about speedway. Cheryl wandered over to have a look at the camper. We got moving and headed back out to the main road. Turned south then turned off for a cuppa at Baaralangi Rock which had little shiny streams coming down it from the morning shower.
The main road has a good gravel surface so no problems driving on it. There are more dark clouds coming across from the west though and it looks like they will meet us further down the road. The wind has picked up too.
The rain got to us but moved across swiftly with the wind.
We turned off onto the track to Errols Mine then continued south onto the pending lease. Found some quartz blows and parked up as the sun came out. Blue sky to one side but still clouds to the other with the wind still blowing. Feels like 10 degrees outside but it is 16 in the camper.
After lunch a shower of rain came over quickly. The sky cleared again so Steve went for a detect, I decided it was nicer in the camper so I sat and typed up my blog.
Another heavier shower came over and got Steve. When he came back wet he said he had found a tree to stand under. I had put the heater on and made him a cuppa as he put on some dry clothes. We read our books then played cards when we had our drinks. The sun shone then another shower of rain would cross over us. The wind just kept blowing but not as strong as yesterday.
Another shower of rain when we went to bed - hopefully that will be the last of it.
