Sun, 13th Mar, 2016 Flinders Chase Farm, Karatta, Kangaroo Island, SA

19.6 degrees in our closed up van – overcast with a bit more wind. Feels like 16 degrees outside.

Roald’s birthday today – They are having a party for his 70th birthday.

Rick has a funny tummy and as the weather isn’t the nicest we decided to have a lay day so he could rest and I could finally catch up on my blog. Cold and misty so into the trackies and jumpers.

Cooked a new chicken dish in the Ecopot and Leanne did a stew in hers so we took them over to the camp kitchen and had dinner there. Chatted with a couple of German girls and another from Cambridge, England who were working here doing the potato sorting. Got out the Rummikub and taught Leanne & Rick how to play – they learnt quickly!!

Steve called in for a chat. He said they have had a lot of rain recently which is unusual but hopefully it won’t affect the seed potatoes. Good for his pastures for the cattle and sheep.

The wind has picked up so hopefully it will blow these clouds away.
