Wed, 22nd Mar, 2017 Kev & Linda’s farm stay, Hopetoun, WA

Woken at 2am by crashes of thunder and flashes of lightning combined with the wind for half an hour before the rain started.

It was still rumbling at 5am but I could see the storm was in the distance in the east. Still overcast at 8am, 19 degrees but the wind has settled.

Quiet day pottering while the boys continued with their maintenance jobs. The air is a lot warmer today, probably because there isn’t a cold wind with it. Top of 27 degrees.

Lots of Facebook and text messages about Jodie graduating from Uni with a Bachelor of Business and also the fact she was chosen to give the Graduates’ Address – very proud moment for her, Brian and Margit. Andrea & Alan’s son, Nick, graduated too and also Rochelle & Lindsay’s son, Luke. Congratulations to them all.

In the arvo I settled in for some Foxtel TV and to find out what time the V8s will be shown during the Formula 1 presentation.

Kev and Linda headed into town to fish off the jetty – we are feeling too slack.

Another clear sky tonight and a lot warmer – even had a window open for a while and no need for bed socks and the big blanket!!

NO PHOTOS TODAY.
