7.30am
15 degrees, clear sky and the strong wind is still blowing.
Tried
detecting but the wind was too strong and quite cold so we had a drive around
checking out some old shafts etc and then collected some firewood.
Home
for a cuppa. Wound in the awning as the strong SE wind is giving it a bashing.
Passed
the morning looking at brochures and maps for the next part of our touring when
we head up the WA coast after I return from Cairns in November.
At
lunch the wind is still howling so only have the windows open a little. Getting
quite warm though as the sun is shining well and heating up the lounge side of
the van to 31 degrees.
Watched
Crocodile Dundee – I have a file of old favourites. It is still a good movie.
Played
cards till drinks then started a new TV series till dinner which I cooked
inside again.
The
wind is still blowing hard though it could be worst – it could be raining too.
