Sheets
washed and bags packed. A few tears with Mum as we love each other so much.
Picked
up Wendy and headed to Central for a last cuppa with Kaylene. The last year has
gone fast so it won’t be long till I see them again.
Joined
Wendy for lunch with Bev, Cathy and Sandie. Last farewell then back home to
make the beds and finish the packing.
Dan
called in with my hard-drive full of movies and series to keep us entertained
when there is no TV reception. Big hugs and kisses as we said goodbye – I
didn’t cry – well only a little tear!!
Cooked
the fish Pete dropped off the other day with some potato bake and corn on the
cob for our last dinner with Mum and Dad. Finished with sticky date pudding and
icecream. Now the dieting starts!!
Jon
and Jess popped in for a final kisses and hugs.
Mum
and Dad dropped us off at the airport at 8pm with lots of hugs, kisses and
tears.
Baggage
weight ok and through security ok. Got a coffee to wait to board at 9pm. At
8.45 they announced there was a maintenance issue and we wouldn’t be boarding
till 10pm. Rang Mum and Dad laughing that they might have to come back and get
us!!! We went for a wander and found some aviation history and photos.

Airport.
Ironman
Competition.
That
passed the time for a while then the next announcement that they were still
waiting for an engineer to come over from the International Airport to change
the tyre on the plane!!!!
Boarded
at 10.45 but had to wait to be refuelled as the refueller was held up too. The
pilot apologised and explained that there was an issue with a tyre but the
engineers were caught up with other maintenance issues on other planes hence
the delay.
Taxied
down the run way and headed into the sky at 11.30pm.
