Should have put my long Pjs on as there is a cold wind blowing this morning and I hadn’t closed up the windows. Only 17 degrees on the thermometer but it feels colder than that. It is overcast too so no sun shining to warm up the camper.
The wind picked up so I closed the windows. Pottered about putting away my gear and checking out what we need in the way of groceries for our trip east. There is a quarantine stop at Ceduna for fruit and vegies so won’t get too much.
Steve put on the aluminium vents that I picked up in Cairns. We had been waiting for Bunnings here to get them but gave up. The marine grade ones we had on the outside fridge doors have perished and cracked.
After morning tea I did my baking and made my Nuts & Bolts for drinkies nibbles.
After lunch the sun came out - still windy. Steve got out the washing machine and did the sheets while I transferred movies onto out TV hard drive. Unfortunately these ones the TV doesn’t read so I have to play them through the laptop which is then plugged into the TV. Bit of a pain but we still have a lot of movies to watch.
As Steve has plenty of data left and we won’t be recharging his phone we got out the Chrome Caster and watched TV online. Found a new Mystery Road series.
Remade the bed and packed the washing machine away then packed up and headed into town. Gavin and Tonia were home so we arranged to drop in for a drink. Caught up on all the news around town and what the kids are up to.
Said farewell and headed back to the 72hr RV Rest Area for the night. Tried a different spot for a change. Not many people here now.
Closed up the windows as we are in for a few cool nights before a few days of rain.
