Sun 22nd Oct, 2017 Fig Tree Crossing Campground, Chapman Valley, WA

7.30am 22.4 degrees, overcast and windy. The van is all closed up again.

We were planning to do some washing but that will wait for a sunny day.

Mum rang to say she is feeling really good – now that is a good reason for a phone call. I said we saw Lindsay on TV and she said that his daughter Phillipa had been chosen to carry the Commonwealth Baton as she is a very accomplished gymnast. Well done.

The sun was shining brightly today on the Gold Coast so there was some very fast racing. Ford reigned supreme again though Red Bull have got their mojo back so the Championship has gotten close with only 4 races to go.

Quiet afternoon blogging – Steve watching rubbish on TV. We have decided we don’t need a satellite dish as we can never find anything good to watch on normal TV.

I baked some Anzacs and date slice then rang Val. She is doing well – boy she is amazing.

Played a couple of games of Skipbo while we had our drinks and nibbles then settled in to find something to watch on TV.

NO PHOTOS TODAY.
