8am
21 degrees, clear sky and no wind.
I
helped Mickey with the units etc. We have the 4 birds in the aviary to feed as
well. No chooks this time – they have gone to another home.
Watched
the Supercars practice in New Zealand.
Joy
and Kayla came for lunch. They had an interesting time living in Katherine but
are happy to be back in WA. Lance will get back here in a couple of weeks. They
had interest in the station but nothing has progressed as yet. Joy has a job at
Dongara so they will move there for Kayla to start school next term. She took
to a classroom with a teacher and other students very well and is a very bright
girl so she should do well.
Kayla
had a dip in the pool – I just put my legs in, that was enough for me – it was
freezing. We will get together again before they head to Dongara as we will
probably still be here waiting for the fridge.
Two
workers booked in whom Mickey makes a light dinner for and a packed lunch for tomorrow.
She received two more bookings from that company so I will do the same for them
when they arrive.
Chatted
over drinks then had a nice dinner together before watching the West Coast
Eagles play on TV. Unfortunately they didn’t win. I got an education on AFL.
Still prefer cars to football.
Another
fresh evening though we still have the windows open but have the blanket on the
bed for the coolness in the morning.
NO
PHOTOS TODAY.
