7am
15.7 degrees, clear sky and no wind. Kaylene and Alexander’s birthdays today
too as well as Erica and Terry’s 62nd wedding anniversary. It was
also Joanne’s birthday so thinking of her today also.
Mickey
and Chris left early. I cleaned the rooms and put the washing on.
Rang
Erica and Terry. They are at a caravan rally and were playing disc bowls today.
Rang Kaylene to wish her a happy birthday. They are going to Port Douglas next
weekend to celebrate – end of the school term so she can relax. Rick and Shane
went up the Palmer and were rewarded with a few bits of gold. Sent Alexander a
birthday message via Facebook as he is somewhere on the other side of the
world.
Enjoyed
watching the Supercars race in New Zealand.
Checked
in the new guests and a couple from Switzerland arrived hoping for a room too.
Had a great chat with them.
Quiet
evening watching the first episode of Season 8 (the last season) of Game of
Thrones.
