9th to 20th July, 2024 Bush camp in Kurinelli Fossicking Area on Kurundi Station, NT

Our grandbabies are 4 months old now - Sophia on the 9th and Beau on the 11th. They are growing up so fast.

Sadly the warm weather didn’t remain and it turned cold and windy but we coped alright with our diesel heaters etc.

On the 12th I sent off messages to Sarah wishing her a wonderful wedding day. Sarah posted this photo the next day - looks like it was a magical day.

My chest cough got worse so Steve and I went into Tennant Creek on the 15th and saw the chemist as I couldn’t get into a doctor. Made an appointment for next week just in case I get worse. Loaded up with cough medicine etc. Steve starting to get the sniffles now. Luckily nobody else has got it.

Rochelle sent a photo of their first grandchild - a son, so they are very happy and enjoying lots of cuddles.

Anne cooked up a Tassie seafood feast for Jenny’s birthday on the 16th and we even had birthday cake that she had made and frozen. Will have to get something sorted for Steve’s birthday next month now!

We had a wonderful time fossicking with Anne, Mike, Ron & Jenny for the two weeks, except for my coughing. We all had a great time chatting and got lots of exercise too.
