10 degrees, blue sky and more cold wind.
Packed up and loaded the camper back on then had lunch. Headed back out to the homestead and saw owner, Ben this time to say we were leaving and chatted for a while.
Back out to the Stuart Highway and into the Bonney Well Rest area again but further away from the windmill this time.
The boys put air back into the tyres as we will be back on bitumen for a week or so now. They girls cleaned their vans and will go to a laundromat tomorrow. I was all clean already.
Had our drinks around a fire - a lot of other travellers coming in for the night. I went back to the camper and the door latch wouldn’t work. Steve had a look but it looks like something has broken so will deal with it in town tomorrow. Got some stretching straps to lock the door from the inside tonight and will have to seal it up tomorrow for the 87km drive up to Tennant Creek.
Full moon tonight!!
