Overcast and cold again, 13 degree min and only 17 at 8am. Forecast for 20 though today.
Quiet morning then joined the others in the house for a cuppa and chat with Darryl.
The sun is trying to break through the clouds.
After lunch we had blue sky but it is very windy. We packed our rods etc in Bob’s car and headed down to check out Ocean Beach. The river hasn’t broken through and it was a long walk down so we continued along the road checking out other spots. Didn’t find anything sheltered from the wind so headed back to Waterfall Beach as it was sheltered but the wind is blowing straight in now so it was rough and cold. Decided to give up and head home for a cuppa.
Joined the others for drinks upstairs then BBQ dinner as Darryl was driving back to work tonight. Darryl had put the pots in the dam so Steve and Bob pulled out a heap of marron (the other dam has yabbies). Bob will cook them up in the morning.
The clouds have covered the sky again as we headed back to the camper. Forecast for 10 degrees tomorrow morning but max will be 26 then we have 4 days of rain - oh well! Lucky we brought other meat and weren’t relying on catching fish for dinner.
