Woke
to lovely sunshine. Packed up and got on the road again. Lots of roadworks
which slowed us down!!! We were slowly going through some roadworks and a
little car came towards us and flicked up a little rock and chipped the
windscreen – Dam. Got out the O’Brien’s patch so hope it won’t grow. More rain
at Gin Gin and on. Stopped at Alloway past Bundaberg to visit Kev and Linda.
Unfortunately Kevin was still in Darwin but had a lovely cuppa and catchup with
Linda. Certainly a lot colder down here.
On
to Woodgate Beach to see Steve’s parents, Erica and Terry. Steve’s brother
David and one son, Benjamin, arrived too. Will miss seeing Amanda, Bradley
& Ella as Ella’s hockey semi-final game was postponed due to the rain and
she has to play Sunday now.
