Had
a good night sleep and headed off at 8am. Stopped for a cuppa and homemade
scones with Nev and Carol in Ayr. Had a great catch up.
Off
again, keeping good speed and not annoying too many trucks – lots of caravans
passing us too – got the wave happening!!!
Lunch
at the Big Mango near Bowen – Steve was practising his German with some
tourists heading north.
Arrived
in Mackay at friends, Dale & Corinne. Had a great time reminiscing and
after dinner with them, climbed into the van on the road in front of their house
for the night.
