Mon, 23rd Oct, 2017 Fig Tree Crossing Campground, Chapman Valley to Geraldton 24hr RV Reststop, Geraldton, WA

7am 23 degrees and overcast.

Headed into Geraldton to the RV spot and parked up. No one beside us at the moment.

Into town for gas, fuel & shopping at Coles. The couple from Townsville that we met at Hutt River were in the shops and said thanks for telling them about the Wreath Flowers etc. Back to the van to unload and pack it all into the van.

The sky has cleared up. Had some lunch then off to check the Woolies specials. I went around to Chemist Warehouse while Steve put the groceries in the truck. When I got back he was having a great chat with Rick on the phone. Back to the van – all full up now. They needed to make the parks a bit wider as you have to park hard up to the line or you haven’t got room to open your door to get in the van!!

As we were unloading the next lot we got a knock on the door and it was Trish. She and Claude arrived here and are parked a couple of vans up. Jon rang about mail then he and Steve had a big chat about work, cars etc.

Wandered over to the picnic area with our drinks – in coffee cups and chatted for a while. Had to put jumpers on as it is quite cool as the sun is going down. The clouds and the cold wind are back.
