Lovely
clear morning with a light cool breeze.

Wendy Blue a happy birthday text. Will have to give the girls at Tuckshop a
call when school goes back.
Caught
up with my blog.
Went
with Tom and Sandy to the shops but first Tom took us up the hill behind where
we are (on the Darling Scarp) to a great lookout spot across to the city.
Unfortunately he didn’t tell me to bring my camera!! Then we drove around to
Bickley Brook and followed it up to the Dam Reserve. Tom used to come here a
lot when he was younger. Now it is a base for outdoor activities for schools
etc so a lot of it is closed off to the public.
Turning
into quite a hot day, 34 degrees in the van at midday though we don’t have any shade
from the west on the van. Luckily it is lovely under the trees beside Tom &
Sandy’s van so we are comfortable for playing cards etc.
3pm
the van reached 40.1 degrees. Glad we are sitting outside. Steve and Sandy won
the Sequence games.
Had
a BBQ dinner then played Rummyikub – I won a couple and Steve won one. Gecks
rule with this game. Onto Skipbo where Steve paired up with Sandy again and won
– will have to change partners!!
Cooled
down to 25 by the time we had showers and got back into the van. They have a
lovely ensuite here with a huge shower rose.
