Slept
in after getting to bed just after midnight. Woke to a text from Lou to welcome
in the New Year.
Breakfast
with Kev and Linda then packed up and headed back to Bob & Margaret’s and
back into our caravan. Had a cuppa with them then put everything back in the
van again.
Lovely
chat with Rebecca and Clive about Ingrid’s lovely wedding etc. Rebecca
suggested I read ‘A Fortunate Life’ – about the Canning Stock Route. Checked
Margaret’s “library” and she has it. She has lots of books about the area which
is great.
Pete
rang to ask advise on where to stay around Bundaberg. I laughed as we only stay
at Woodgate!! He will be coming over to see his mum who isn’t doing too well in
mid Jan so we might catch up with him then.
Lovely
roast pork dinner with Bob and Margaret to celebrate the New Year. I had made
my plum pudding at the house so we had the rest of it, custard and ice cream
for dessert.
