Got
colder overnight. 11 degrees at 7am – what happened to summer. I had better
night’s sleep though still propped up on my pillows. Clear blue sky so enjoyed
sitting in the sun as long as we were out of the cold wind.
Leanne
and Rick packed up and after a cuppa headed off towards Launceston. We have had
a great time travelling with them and will miss them.
Now
to catch up on my blog. Having a laugh listening to the native hen’s squawking
– like the squeaky bed. Steve saw some have a proper cock fight. They were in a
circle and the two fighting were in the middle pecking at each other.
Watched
V8 Supercars in Adelaide for the Clipsal 500. There was two practice sessions
and two qualifying sessions for the races tomorrow. Channel 10 have the rights
now and they were doing a good job. A few of the Channel 7 commentators have
come across so it was still ok. Marcus Ambrose, who we followed in 2003, when
we went to Bathurst with the boys, is returning after 9 years racing NASCAR. It
will be interesting to see how he goes.
I
am feeling a lot better flu wise but the cough has come back again. Leanne rang
to say they were at Cooee Point.
