Another
lovely morning – just a little nip in the air to start the day.
Took
down the curtains and put them in the wash. Mum had booked a window cleaner to
do all the windows – thank goodness – I hate washing windows!!
Popped
down to Wendy and Steve’s for a cuppa and chat. Wonderful news for them as Kim
is due in August with her second child. Steve rang to check I remembered a
couple of things I had on the calendar so he and Steve had a chat about vans etc.
He replaced the van brakes yesterday so was a bit stiff today from all the
bending, squatting and twisting!!
Home
for lunch and the window cleaner was just finishing so after he put back the
clean screens I hung the curtains again. He did a great job so Mum was very
happy to have a clean outlook over her garden again.
Out
to Kerry and Brian’s for a cuppa – forgot how bad 3pm school traffic is!! They
have a 2300 detector too now and are getting closer to living the good life in
their motorhome.
Back
home in time to collect Mum and Dad then pick up Val for dinner at Brothers.
Ray and Marion joined us too as Marion is over the flu now. Lovely time
chatting and listening to Ray’s funny stories. No luck at all on the pokies so
didn’t stay late.
Rang
Steve back for a longer chat. I feel like I have been home for months – missing
my man.
