Light
rain in the early morning.
Gave
Mum a lesson on the computer. Labour Day public holiday today.
Jon
and Jess picked me up and we drove out to Little Mulgrave where her parents
live. Still drizzly as we headed out but it cleared up past Edmonton. Beautiful
spot up in the hills along the Little Mulgrave River. Nice open spot for a shed
Jon reckons and easy walk down to the river.
Down
to the river where an old causeway is. Bandit and Lily had a ball. Took a video
of Bandit swimming – he pounds the water so it splashes up so he can bite it –
so funny.
Lovely
morning out with Jon and Jess then home for a late lunch.
Rang
Kaylene for a walk but she has hurt her leg so tried Wendy. She was free and
when I called in to pick her up, Sarah was joining us which was terrific.
Perfect afternoon for a brisk walk along the Esplanade. Lots of people out
enjoying the day off.
On
the way home we stopped at Jon’s so Sarah could meet Jess and chat. In the end
I left her and Wendy there – only a short walk up the road to their place from
Jon’s, and I went home to get ready to head to Brothers for dinner with Mum,
Dad and Val. A couple of little wins on the pokies.
Home
for a cuppa and chat with Steve. Cold down there this morning 13.5 degrees at
7am. I will suffer when I go back!!
