Wed, 23rd Jan, 2019 10 Mile Outcamp, Tarmoola Station, 60km north of Leonora, WA

6.30am 31 degrees, cloudy and light breeze. Had a shower of rain at 4am.

David messaged that he might be coming to Perth to pick up a car for his boss and drive it back to Maryborough so we might be able to catch up with him in Kalgoorlie.

Headed off on our bore run. As we had the new algae blocks we dumped the water out of the troughs and gave them a good scrub clean and refilled them with the blocks in there to hopefully keep the algae at bay.

As we were driving along I spotted a brilliant blue wren but he was too fast for a photo. At another well Steve spotted a big emu in the distance.

Overcast and breezy day which was nice since we were scrubbing troughs.

Back home for a late lunch, 1pm 35 degrees.

Relaxing afternoon – very pleasant temperature.

10pm still 30 degrees with a nice light breeze. No fan needed tonight.

NO PHOTOS TODAY.
