14 degrees, clear sky except for a low cloud band to the west and cool breeze.
Beau is 7 months today. Sent them a text and Annalise replied they were up the Dam and Beau was enjoying his first ride in the boat. Great video of him on Daddy’s lap, driving the boat!
Went for a wander but only found a few bits of rubbish. Steve went for the big walk of course and thinks he found the spot where the local said he found the big nugget. There is dig holes everywhere and chain gridding.
We packed up and headed back down the track. The cloud band has moved over us. The other chap has left - he said he was meeting his mate in town for the Leonora Races this weekend. We turned along the fence line and found a well worn track around to the spot. May as well give it a go - they might have left a bit for us.
The cloud band moved on and now the sky is clear. Got to 27.7 degrees in the camper.
No treasures for us unfortunately. Read and did some cross stitch while Steve kept wandering.
Lou messaged to say Ken had passed away this afternoon - our thoughts are with all the family. Lou will pass on our condolences if they have a funeral. Ken will be missed by many clubs and he was still the treasurer for the Formula 500 Club, so many years of helping others.
