Rain
during the night so it was a lot warmer. Overcast sky but still ok to go for a
walk along the Esplanade. We are so enjoying not being laden down by all the
layers of cold you need in the southern states.
Visited
our Accountant and signed our tax returns. Popped into ANZ to order Steve a new
Visa card as his wasn’t working properly, joys of squashing it in his back
pocket in his wallet.
To
Rebecca and Clive’s for lunch and to hear all about their trip to Norway and
the Arctic Circle. Fantastic photos – definitely one to put on the ‘to do’
list. They will be picking up their camperhome soon from Brisbane so I showed
them Erica’s photo book of the Murray River trip and said they should join us - unfortunately it is probably too close to
them getting it and they won’t have it stocked up with things etc.
Dropped
in on Jon to sort out the broadband and phone as the NBN has come past the house and he
needed to convert to it before they disconnect the old phone service etc. Steve
went digging through the camping bits for things to take up the Palmer. I
joined Kaylene on the Esplanade for a walk. Steve and Jon took Bandit for a
walk around the streets near the house.
Picked
up Erica and Terry and we met Mum, Dad and Val at Bungalow for dinner – two for
one and huge meals, great value. So great to Val again as she has been in the
wars again but she is ok now and looking great again. She is amazing. Had a
play on the pokies and we won $12 on my pussycat machine but the other machines
weren’t as nice.
Coffee
at home watching another ABC detective show, Vera.
Rain
again. Warm night but oh so nice.
