Lovely
sunny morning but still with a little chill in the air – especially when I only
have a single layer on!!
Called
in on the girls at Tuckshop – so great to see them all, though Jenny was
missing. Will go in on Wednesday as they will all be there and Dot as well. Big
fences around the school now.
Off
to the shops to get new hiking boots as we have worn the soles off the old
ones. Got similar ones at Rays on special. Then around to the Work Wear place for
some boots for Steve to take detecting that don’t have any steel in them – made
now for airport workers etc.
Did
some other shopping and then got some of his groceries for his two weeks away.
Text from Chris to say Diane’s operation was a success – so glad. Got a card
and present for Rebecca and baby Axel.
Saw
Mrs Blyth – she is looking good and Mr Blyth is doing ok. Texted Paul to see if
we can catch up tomorrow night.
Lovely
walk along the Esplanade with the girls.
Erica
and Terry for dinner – Dad cooking his usual Wednesday night feast – via the
Chinese shop!!
