Woke
to the pitter patter of rain on the roof
- it is falling heavily on the van from the tree we are under so it
sounds a lot heavier than it is. 12 degrees in the van. The boys dug trenches
around the vans as the water takes a while to soak in so it is just running
along the ground.

Quiet
day chilling out as the drizzly rain continued. 10 degrees outside at
lunchtime.
Rain
stopped in the arvo so got the fire going with some diesel on our wet timber.
Enjoyed the still afternoon around the fire chatting with Pete and Penny.
It
was 8.5 degrees at 6.30pm.
Watched
the one hour broadcast on One of the V8s in Ipswich – just doesn’t seem the
same not getting the whole broadcast.
