Thurs, 26th November, 2015 Kyffins Reserve, Lake Mulwala, Mulwala, NSW

Hot night – still 30 degrees at 1am. The wind had picked up again during the night. The truck is blocking the wind so the van isn’t getting blown too much but we have closed all the windows as the wind is very cold.

Still 22 degrees in the van at 10am but it feels like 15 outside with the cold wind. The clouds are being blown over quickly but it is taking a lot to warm the van. Quiet day as we aren’t travelling in this strong wind.

Karl and Inga headed off though as they are going with the wind behind them. The wind has whipped up the lake – don’t think we will have that swim today.

Mum and Dad Duck wandered past with their ducklings.

Steve started watching the many series of Game of Thrones that Dan had put on the hard drive for us.

Went for a walk along the track – should have put a jumper on – as the wind is very chilly.

One year ago we would be boarding the Spirit of Tasmania for our adventure there. Wow how time flies.

Cooked a roast in the Ecopot then did some vegies in the oven with some fresh corn on the cob.

Clear sky and the wind is slowly dropping. Put on a jumper and headed out to get the sunset. Makes the Red River Gums glow.

A couple of swans fly over while the corellas squawk as the sun sets.

Beautiful.

Amazing to think yesterday was so hot and today I have a jumper on. Closed all the windows. Weather says it will get down to 6 degrees overnight!!
