Wed, 22nd June, 2016 Lake Mason Homestead, 56km NE of Sandstone, WA

7am 14.7 degrees in the van, overcast but I can see clear sky on the horizon.

Made some muffins in the campoven on top of the wood stove. Steve got it a bit hot and burnt the bottoms but they were still ok. Bit of an art getting the temperature right.

Put a stew in the campoven on top of the wood stove and let it slow cook for the afternoon.

After lunch the clouds started parting and blue sky appeared – yeah.

Had a nice long hot shower as we skipped it last night in the rain!! Didn’t do anything to get dirty either.

Drinks around the fire pit outside. The sky is full of stars and I counted 5 satellites. One was following another one. Nearly full moon rose – it was full on the 20th.

Going to be cold tonight. Got our lovelies warmers full up of coals keeping us warm.

7pm it was 10 degrees outside. Enjoyed our stew by the fire then headed into the van for a cuppa.

10pm it was 6.8 degrees outside but we were warm and toasty inside with the heater on.

NO PHOTOS TODAY.
