7am
20 degrees, overcast with a light wind from southwest.
The
home owner, Brett, has Foxtel so we are able to watch the 4 races of the V8s at
the Melbourne Grand Prix this weekend. Race 1 was great, Ford won.
Baked
some cookies while the boys went over to work on some of the machinery at
Brett’s son’s place. Linda reading our Doug Stone’s gold prospecting book to
inform herself before they get to Kalgoorlie.
They
came back in time for Race 2 – a couple of big crashes.
Linda,
Steve and I played 3 person Sequence then we taught Kev. He was my partner and
we reigned supreme – well 3 games to 2.
Heavy
clouds hanging around but no rain and no wind so a nice night.
