Sun, 26th Mar, 2017 Kev & Linda’s farm stay, Hopetoun, WA

Windy night. Now cloudy but the sun is peeking through.

Sent Becky a text for her birthday.

As I headed over to the house to put a load of washing on I noticed big black clouds over the mountains in the Fitzgerald River National Park (in the west) and they are heading our way. Managed to get Linda’s clothes off the line just as the rain came down.

That passed over quickly leaving just a strong wind. Hung my towels and clothes out as the sun is now out and the wind will dry the clothes quickly if I can keep them pegged to the line.

Watched Race 4 of the V8s at F1 Grand Prix in Melbourne. DJR Penske won over all which is great for them and Ford fans.

The wind is so strong it is blowing up a dust storm in the west over the dry paddocks.

Watched the Formula One’s race, sad our Aust entrant, Daniel Riccardo, broke down in the form up lap. He got going after the race started but broke down again later on.

Played another round of Sequence and Linda and Steve won 3 games to none so we played the equaliser as Kev and I had won yesterday. Unfortunately Linda and Steve were on a role and got another 3 nil set!! There is always next time!!

Chatted over drinks then Linda put on a pizza and we had that for dinner. Headed back to the van and the sky is clear and the temperature is quite cool. No wind now which is lovely.

NO PHOTOS TODAY.
