Sun, 19th May, 2019 Bush camp near Jubilee Hill, 50km south of Laverton, WA

6.30am 1.6 degrees inside and -2 outside, clear sky and no wind. Heater on of course.

Once the sun comes up it warms up enough to head out detecting by 9am. Tried some different spots but no joy.

Drove up Jubilee Hill to check out the survey post. Nice view from up here too – looking west.

Home for lunch, 20 degrees in the van as it was closed up.

Steve went off detecting elsewhere and I went over my area again but I couldn’t get a signal. Nothing for Steve either.

Warmer evening, 16 degrees, so it was very pleasant around the fire for our afternoon drinks and chatting. Carol said the forecast is for 29 tomorrow – what a change from the last couple of days.
