Sun, 11th Aug, 2019 Bush camp, 50km south of Marble Bar, WA

7am 17.5 degrees, clear sky and the wind is still blowing hard.

Another day to chill out as it is too windy to detect. Luckily we aren’t in a dusty area.

Dug out the Sequence for a change of game and played till smoko then we read our books. I have 3 of Dan Brown’s latest for Steve to read as he has read and reread his magazines a hundred times.

After lunch watched a good movie till smoko. The wind has settled a bit.

Read our books again till drinks. The wind is much better so Steve got the fire going and we sat outside as the sun set. Cooked dinner on the bushcooker and heated the shower water. Steve spotted a falling star – it fell for long enough for me to be able to see it too when he called out. Hope it is pointing to a good spot to find gold!!

About 9pm the wind came back!!
