Thurs, 25th July, 2019 Bush camp near Mosquito Creek, east of Nullagine, WA

7am 20 degrees, overcast with a light breeze. Debbie’s birthday today – hope she and David are enjoying their retirement.

Steve went out detecting while I did a stocktake for our shopping trip at Newman tomorrow. We want to swap the gas bottle we are using so I did another lot of baking to try and use up the gas. I made a banana cake for Ray and Carol too and gave them some biscuits and slice to say thanks as they are leaving for home tomorrow. Cooked dinner in the Ecopot then caught up with my blog so I can upload it tomorrow too.

By lunch the clouds had gone and the sun was heating things up. 31 degrees in the van. Steve came back empty-handed but he got a lot of exercise!

Quite hot in the afternoon as the sun beat down and there was no breeze.

Sat in the shade behind Dave’s van for drinks to farewell Ray and Carol. It has been fun exploring different places with them. Will see them at the end of 2020 when we go to Woodgate.

6pm 25 degrees in the van with the windows open. Didn’t close them till we went to bed.

NO PHOTOS TODAY.
