Tues, 6th Aug, 2019 Bush camp on 4 Mile Common, Marble Bar, WA

7am 15.8 degrees, clear sky and no wind.

Detected a couple of other areas and scored a few bits. Hard work pushing through the spinifex which is very sticky.

Light breeze blowing now from the north-west.

Home for lunch then relaxed continuing on with our books. Now we have started we want to finish them.

After a cuppa Steve went for a detect out from camp. I kept reading.

Sadly Steve came back empty handed. Played Skipbo over drinks – I won this time 2 games to 1.

Jeff rang as we had tried ringing him. He has just got back from detecting around Claremont but didn’t have any joy. I told him how we were looking at our photos of 3 years ago when we were detecting with him.

Started a new TV series while we had dinner – so glad we have our hard drive of movies etc. Lovely temperature that we left the windows open till about 9pm when a light cool breeze sprang up.

NO PHOTOS TODAY.
