4am rain - had to get up and close up the pop-top windows.
After breakfast we packed up and headed back to Palmerston. Parked at the back of the shopping centre and got our bits and pieces. Rang Bushmans but the chap Steve spoke to last time is away for the week. This chap said to send and email with photos which we did. He came back asking for a few more photos and said he would get back to us this afternoon.
Uploaded some days of my blog etc.
Heard back from Bushmans and they are happy to replace the fridge. Just means we have to hang around Darwin for a week or so as they won’t be able to ship it till mid next week.
Rang Rebecca and Clive then Margaret and Rick and caught up on their news. Spoke to Jon - he starts his new career as a Driller Offsider on Tuesday at the mine near Lawn Hill. What a change for him. He has worked out things with Brian to finish off jobs etc when he comes back to Cairns on his week off.
Back to Leaders Creek for the night again. Steve won Canasta at last!
