Tues, 29th Aug, 2017 Bush camp, near Meekatharra, WA

7am 18.7 degrees, rained on and off during the night. Cloud band in the E/NE and all clear to the west.

More black thunder and lightning cells passed by us upsetting the detectors but no more rain.

Wind picked up about 11 so we went back to camp to roll in the awning as there hadn’t been much rain in the end.

The wind blew the storm clouds away by the afternoon and then it just got windier. Came back to camp to find buckets halfway up the hill etc.

Settled down after sunset so managed to cook outside but we didn’t stay out for long as it has cooled off quickly. Fancy it getting cold again when spring is in a few days!!

NO PHOTOS TODAY.
