Wed, 30th Aug, 2017 Bush camp, near Meekatharra, WA

7am 14.2 degrees, clear sky, no wind. Glad we didn’t take the extra blanket off.

Warmed up quickly though so only need one shirt on for detecting. Sticking with long sleeves and long pants to keep the red dirt off our skin. Our gloves are great too. Love my pull on boots as the dirt doesn’t get in them unless if step into a soft dirt dump!! Steve is over his as they are like a sandshoes so his white socks are all red now.

The wind picked up after lunch but not too bad.

Lovely afternoon chatting by the fire though the breeze gets chilly as the sunsets so we still need to pull on a jumper.

Had to close up the van as the night chill came in.
