Better
night’s sleep. Clear sky, of course, the Cairns Show has finished so the
weather clears up!!
Groceries
for Mum and things on sale for me like Brut and coffee for our trip back to the
van. Saw John Turnock who was a grade 4 and art teacher at Balaclava School
when the boys went there. Had a lovely chat with him. He has been working with
the homeless kids for the last 10 years.
Met
Kaylene, Emma, Wendy and Sarah at Central to watch Mumma Mia, Here We Go Again
at the cinemas. We ended up in the VMax theatre which meant we had to have
allocated seats so we didn’t get to sit together. We wanted to be up the back
so we could stand, dance and sing. In the end we sang and cried. It was so
emotional. Fabulous movie for a sequel. Will have to get it on DVD to add to my
collection for those rainy days!!
Coffee
and chat afterwards. I saw Maria Dudley who was Dan’s preschool teacher –
amazing she recognised me and remembered Dan too.
Out
to Trinity Beach with Kaylene for a walk along the foreshore. Lots of people
out and about. Had dinner together then I went back to feed and play with the
dogs.
