7am
16 degrees, a few cloud and a cool wind is blowing. We must have had a shower
of rain in the early hours as I can still smell it and there are drops on the
windows which were open.
Started
cleaning the rooms as guests left. The Carbon ladies are staying another night.
Steve
got to work on giving ‘Pat’ a service. He had just got under the truck when a
big dark cloud and strong wind dumped some rain on us. The sky got darker as the
morning went on. I put the washing in the dryer as I don’t think things will
dry as quickly today.
The
wind has gotten very cold so I had to dig out our flannies. Only got to a top
of 18 today as it is dark and windy.
Watched
a great movie at lunch time – about the first American astronauts.
After
lunch the sky started to clear but the cold wind continued. Steve gave the
truck and van a wash. I cleaned the screens and inside the windows.
Quiet
evening with no new guests. Watched the last episode of Games of Thrones.
