Got
Steve to colour my hair so I am beautiful for Melbourne Cup with the girls next
week. He then went shopping for his food for his 2 weeks in the Palmer River
Goldfields.
I
baked him some date slice, anzac cookies then made a gingerbread spiced pumpkin
cake for afternoon tea with my cousin’s daughter Natalie and her friend who are
in Cairns for a few days.
Made
some pumpkin soup and Mum got a big crunchy Cobb loaf to have with it – Yum.
Natalie
arrived and we spent a lovely afternoon chatting. Her boyfriend is performing
on Sunday at the Courthouse Pub so will have to go down and check it out.
Picked
up Val and we all headed down to Brothers for dinner.
