Overcast
then rain for the morning. Noticing the humidity.
Went
over to the boys’ houses. I moved all our gear from the spare bedroom into a
smaller room that wasn’t much use as a bedroom so Jon could have another
boarder if he wanted. Steve helped Jon with his kitchen renovation – Masters
closing down sales has been great. He is doing a good job and it is all looking
nicer. Met his girlfriend Jess who is lovely and his flatmate Jake who is a
carpenter and has been helping with the renovating.
Dan
has been renovating too – knocked out a wall between two small bedrooms and has
made a media room. Painted dark grey, black ceiling and fire engine red
cornices and door frames – looks quite good. He wants a black curtain to hang
behind his huge TV to cover the timber which used to be the window and also all
the cables from his computer etc to the TV. So I have a job sorting the curtain
for him!!
Bandit
is still the loveliest dog and Charlie, the ring neck parrot, still only loves
Jon!!
The
rain eased up about 5pm which was great as we headed over to Wendy &
Steve’s daughter Cassie’s place for Wendy’s 60th birthday party.
Great night and we got to catch up with some more friends there.
