Fri, 28th July, 2017 Bush camp, near Meekatharra, WA

7am 15.8 degrees, clear sky - warmer night.

Lovely morning detecting.

By lunchtime the wind had picked up again and was very strong and gusty. We have the awning only half out and tied down so it coped with the wind ok. Blew all our ‘fire starter’ cardboard boxes etc across the paddock though!!

Clouds started coming over and the wind was relentless and didn’t stop when the sun went down either.

Very strong winds through the night. Reminds us of Marble Bar etc last year and that we are now heading into two months or so of these winds – such fun!!
