Wed, 19th July, 2017 Bush camp, near Meekatharra, WA

7am 16.7 degrees, clear sky.

Decided to wash the sheets as the sun was shining and there was a strong wind blowing from the NW. Sandy used my machine too as the washing machines in at the van park where she normally does them have broken down and there is only one left. She is going to get one like mine for next year.

Rang around the insurance companies as the van and truck insurance is due. What fun!! Steve having fun creating another shower room – he is enjoying pottering around the camp. As it was so windy we didn’t do any detecting today!!

Another lovely day in shorts and t-shirt. The cold weather predicted hasn’t arrived yet thank goodness. Nice to get some sun on my legs!!

Games afternoon again then back to camp to cook dinner. As we were sitting around the fire admiring the beautiful night sky a big light crossed over the sky. Will have to check if it was the space station as it was very bright and definitely not a plane etc. Went from SW to NE.

NO PHOTOS TODAY.

PS it was the space station and it will come over again on Friday night then in the morning 6.24am on the 29th so might have to get up early for a look.
