7am
15.4 degrees. Blew all night then we had a shower of rain at 3am. No wind and
clear at the moment.
The
boys got ready for the concrete to arrive to do the slab. I headed back to our
new area to go over it – lots of rubbish still to pick up.
Wind
picked up again by lunchtime and it’s a bit nippy but we must be acclimatising
as I only need two layers!! The sun is still hot when you are out of the wind.
Back
to camp early to get ready for Sat night BBQ. Decided to move the firepit to
the other side of the container to get out of the wind.
I
made a tossed salad and baked some Banana Twists for dessert. Had a great
evening chatting and the wind settled down and the stars came out. Sandy spotted
a great falling star but was having a drink at the time so couldn’t call out.
