Wed, 26th July, 2017 Bush camp, near Meekatharra, WA

7am 13 degrees, clear sky.

Went detecting. Got windy by the time we headed back for lunch.

Robyn & Robert had rung so I rang them back. They are leaving Mosquito Creek – all the others have gone too as the run of gold has run out!! They are head to Marble Bar now.

Back detecting and I was rewarded with my biggest piece yet. Steve did well too. Icecream for us tonight!!

Rang Mum and Dad to brag.

Windy around the fire tonight but it isn’t cold.

Ross and Lara had gone into town to pick up the formwork etc for the camp’s slab that Kev is here to do. They also picked up their new puppy, Abra, a black and white border collie. So cute. Ross came over with her and I had lovely cuddles. She is so fluffy and still white at the moment. She’ll be black and red soon with all this red dirt. Will have to get a photo and send it to Jon & Jess.

Finished off the evening with icecream – even Kev got some as he had wandered with his 2300 and found a couple of little bits.
